Bluebird Pizzeria makes some of the best pizza in the bay area, and strives to deliver top-notch service. We love what we do, and are always on the look-out for others who share our passion. Restaurants require reliable, hardworking team players in order to thrive. If you feel rewarded serving great food, with service to match, do not hesitate to apply. Though any restaurant or food service experience is necessary, some pizza knowledge is desired. Hours are flexible, depending on position, and your own ambitions. Only those who are focused and have a strong sense of urgency need apply. You must be genuinely friendly, and eager to learn and follow established systems and procedures. Good customer service skills required. We need team players with a good attitude, who can and will do tasks as necessary, including, cleaning, washing dishes, cleaning tables, and making boxes.
Front of House: Do you fully recognize the importance of exceptional customer service?
Main duties: Take orders utilizing square register. Obtain drinks, including draft beers. Keep counters neat and clean. Maintain supplies of silverware, chilled glasses, disposables, etc. Ability to prepare salads and cannoli .
Pizza Helper: Those with a passion for pizza strongly encouraged to apply.
Main Duties: Topping pizzas, quickly and accurately, while displaying a good attitude and pride in finished product. Prep toppings as needed. Decent knife skills are necessary. Manage pizza by the slice orders. Prepare salads and cannoli. Maintain a clean and well organized work station at all times. Ideally, you will be ambitious to further pizza making skills, including dough preparation and management which are an integral part of any successful pizza operation.
Dishwasher: Ability to prioritize tasks and work well independently.
Main Duties: Washing dishes utilizing a three compartment sink. Clean and sanitize glasses using an automatic dish machine. Bus tables in dining area. Stocking and managing chemicals and cleaners. Cleaning and organizing the back area on a daily basis. Strong sense of urgency is needed for this position. Ability to prioritize tasks to help keep front of house running as smoothly as possible. Must speak English, and be able to answer phone when necessary. Ideally, you will be enthusiastic about advancing skills, including some food preparation.
